Welcome to the IV Smart Cities, Happy Citizens World Summit 2025, an international gathering dedicated to building cities that are smarter, more human-centered, and happier.

This year, for the first time, the event will be held in a hybrid format, combining an in-person program in the vibrant city of Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, with a virtual experience that enables global participation. Salvador is emerging as a major hub for international events in Brazil — and SCHCWS 2025 is proud to be part of this exciting movement.

With the theme “Future Cities: Overcoming Challenges,” we invite an honest and creative look at the obstacles that prevent cities from meeting people’s real needs — and how to overcome them through sustainable, contextual, and effective solutions.
